Spring Skincare Tips

Let's start out by taking a moment to give ourselves some serious self love, we made it through a very, long winter. It's time to welcome the new Spring season and in doing so, it's important for us to make a few adjustments to our skin care routine.

1. Swap out your moisturizer.

Keep it light, keep it right. If you are currently using a heavier moisturizing system, it's time to take a break. Lighter is better in the spring and summer season due to more humidity and rain which can lead to greasy skin.

2. S-Please-F.

It's imperative to wear SPF at all times but consider using a SPF that is a bit higher than what you use during the winter months. SPF 30 used in addition, not in lieu of via make-up, to your skincare routine will help protect the skin from sun damage.

3. Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.

Give your skin a rebirth and slough off all the dead skin built up from the harsh wind and environmental conditions of winter months. Exfoliating your face removes dead surface skin cells leaving a fresh layer of skin. This allows your skin to absorb skin care products more effectively. Using a gentle exfoliator once a week will keep you glowing.

4. Exercise 

 Exercise also acts like a mini-facial for your face because when you sweat your pores open and expel dirt and oil. After a great sweat session make sure to wash your skin thoroughly because your face can be a breeding ground for blemishes at this time.

5. Facial
